Hardships worth the fight

Process

'Laging nasa huli ang pagsisisi' a famous Filipino saying that almost every Pinoy knows, and everyone who's heard this saying has experienced it proving that it's true. I'm one of those people, because I've always said to just Chill out and Enjoy the last years of my Highschool life but when I saw the damage that it caused to my Grades and even my activeness that's the only time I've realized that I should've done something as long as I can. But because of this I gained more knowledge in juggling my fun time with academic time. I learned many techniques and skills that I can use in the following quarters.

During this quarter I also encountered many challenges, especially when all of the projects and requirements given to us needs to be passed almost all at the same time. I felt pressured and lost, not knowing what or which should I do first. During these times my tears that fell would be more than what I have finished.

Despite this I still managed to get myself together, and do my work. I started it by managing my time and making a To do list so I could keep track at the things that I've finished. Sure it was hard to do at first but I quickly got the hang of it after some time or so.

Although this quarter is coming to an end, I'll use the hardships and challenges that I've faced as a motivation and symbol for me to do better in the following quarters. From now on I would always keep in mind that "No one meets success without going through any problems."

Not only a woman, I'm more than that

"You are only a woman. You have NO rights!", Only a woman?ONLY? This is the sad reality that most women still experience nowadays. Hurtful words that pierce through their hearts like it's made out of paper, disregarding any rights or proof of all of their efforts because they're 'only' a "powerless" gender seen to almost all. They're often taken advantage of because of everyone's thoughts that women are powerless and will never have enough courage to speak the truth; that's how some completely hideous people see women. They see them as toys and dolls that are made 'exclusively' for men and the society to play with. Do we really want to keep living in this harsh reality where women are seen as tools for pleasure? Thankfully there have been many laws implemented protecting the rights of women and protecting them against violence. Such as RA 8353 or The Anti-Rape Law of 1997 and RA 11313 or Safe Spaces Act. RA 8353 (The Ant...

Greenery for everybody

Greenery keeps the world pretty. As we approach the month of the environment, many activities and programs are to follow it. That's why as a student I wanted to do my part and contribute to the preservation of our green environment. Some things may seem small and simple at first but when we collect all of these tiny pieces and glue them together it can turn into something big. Exactly like turning off the lights when they're not in use, it does not only limit the use of electricity but also lessens the contribution of people to light pollution. Walking instead of riding motorcycles when the places you want to go to is close. Is a simple yet helpful thing for our environment, it does not only benefit you but also the people that surrounds you. Because it  helps you burn fat and also lessen the amount of air pollution released into the earth. Another way I helped in keeping our environment clean is by simply throwing trash in the right place. Because any trash that's just t...
