World of innovation, created by imagination

For this month of march the different specializations of each Tle branch had their very own booths and we were required to explore them for our Ict period.  I don't quite know what specialization the first booth was, however I remember there was a photo booth where we can take silly pictures in and a confession wall.  Other than that we were also able to explore the different booths which includes beauty care where my friend jokingly said that I needed it lol, then cookery and my favourite which was agriculture. In the agriculture booth I felt that I was at peace, I found the presence of plants surrounding me as peaceful and getting a breeze of fresh air was what I needed after our first period subject. I was honestly surprised to see that we had a place dedicated to just plants. I found it very interesting which made me want to embrace agricultural work even more. Well even if I wasn't able to get the theme and purpose of the booths, I was able to reflect that it's goal i...

Aim High, Fly Soar—123 years Ilocos Sur National High School

Each and every single School Year our school celebrates the day that it was founded which is around the month of march. This year we celebrated our school's 123rd foundation day celebration on March 21 and I can tell it was a handful. Each year all students of our school would practice dances for the annual field demo, and this year our grade level got American Pop Culture for Girls, and Mexico for the boys. Around early march we started to practice for the annual field demo performance which is also a competition. During practice it was pretty difficult to move around especially because It was so hot. But we were still able to push through. During the actual day of our foundation day celebration we had a parade and after we got back in the school we stayed in the field to wait for our classmate who's the Queen for this year. After which we then went back to our classroom to eat and we went to perform. During the performance I kind of enjoyed it given that I was with a lot of...

For the last time

I can't believe it I'm finally completing my Junior High School (JHS) journey this year. It's been an entire rollercoaster ride full of ups and downs, well mostly downs. But after this entire School Year I'm finally writing my very last reflection blog. To be honest, nothing much happened this quarter. We were taught how to create our own web page using Microsoft Frontpage which is mainly used for beginner coders. I was able to understand the lessons pretty quickly, thanks to our amazing teacher and also to our practice teacher Ma'am Charleen. They taught us so many things we never knew about creating your own web page using Ms Frontpage. With their guidance we were able to make a web page by our very own. However I was struggling to navigate Ms Frontpage at first but whenever I couldn't find the right tools I would ask Ma'am Charleen for help and she's more than happy to guide me. Because of her patience and dedication in teaching us I was able to fin...

By then again

If I'm being honest I've always tried to avoid questions regarding my plans in the future or how I see myself in the future 15 years from now or so. Most probably because I can't see myself in the future, I can never seem to visualise what I'll be doing or what I've achieved. But if ever I'm still here by then, I'd hope that I have achieved my dreams and ambitions in life.  I'm hoping that by then I'll be the person who I want to be, someone who pushes through the challenges that she faces whilst also achieving her dreams. Someone who is holding onto the dreams that she hasn't achieved yet in hopes that one day she'd be able to reach them. If by the things I see from now I'd hopefully land a secure job that provides me with a decent amount of money whilst also being something that I can enjoy doing. Hopefully by then again, I'd be who I want myself to become. A successful person who recognises where she came from. References: https://...

Inclusive society, yet unique by our own quality

For years and maybe decades women have been struggling with countless battles, constantly struggling to fight for their rights or to fight any problem that they encounter. Most women are even struggling to speak their minds up because of such beliefs that women are powerless against all or any person they face. But it's time for us to finally recognise the hardships and the battles that these women go through. Yes, we do have all our own battles, and we've all experienced discrimination from time to time. However this shouldn't be the reason for us to start discriminating and competing with each gender on who has the most celebrations that recognises their hardships and battles. We all have our time and we need to wait for our month, like they say you can celebrate with the birthday celebrant but you can't blow the candles for them. Women's month isn't only about women, it's celebrating all WOMEN. It's not about competition or who can celebrate or not...
